Danielle Sedor

Meet Danielle - Mama, Wife, Baker & Woman

Her Story:

Infertility was the hardest thing we have ever gone through. But that struggle shaped me into the mom and woman I am today. My appreciation, patience, and outlook on motherhood would not be the same without that journey. It gave me the strength and wisdom to tackle the adoption process for our second son.

What is something you are actively going through?

I have always struggled with being a stay at home mom. I would not have it any other way since we went through so much financially, physically, and mentally to start our family but I come from a family of powerful women bread winners and I feel guilty at times not being a financial provider. I recently started my own home based bakery business. Baking brings me joy and cooking for others is my love language. This has helped me find some autonomy outside of being a homemaker.

Who motivates you most?

My husband Tom. He challenges me to be the best version of myself. He has seen me grow so much since high school. His strength and perseverance are a light during our darkest times.

What are you proud of?

I am so happy I decided to take a chance and put myself out there as a baker. I am a perfectionist and it has shielded me in the past from being able to share my authentic self and be vulnerable. But like most things that initially seem scary I am so thankful I just went for it. Hearing my oldest son talk about me with pride makes it so worth it. My three sons are my legacy and I am finally able to see the beauty in that without financial notoriety or what society deems worthy.
